I am really new to Lego, I have not buy any Lego for at least 20years! :O

I love the mini figures, with the release of the Minifigures Series 1.... i am hooked again on Lego. I am looking for more more and more mini figures.

Can anyone please tell me what is the best way to obtain them? Is there a local sales thread for minifigs?

p/s i have an extra Elf from S3, willing to trade for a Spartan S2 Tongue if anyone is willing la...

Series 1 & series 2 not longer available in the TRU. But since you wanna just start over, easy to find the whole set of 16 from members here.

I found series 2, just missing spartan Tongue

I'm just wondering what is the best way to get minifigs, some set are worth it la... Battle packs, that toy story green dudes set. But most other set give very little minifigs... Sadness.

My main focus is minifigs.

Well all i can say is that collecting minifigs is a fun adventure where you spent countless time and a deep pocket to hunt for them especially the rare figs 'eg the limited star wars gold C3PO, chrome Vader etc'. But havin a huge number of minifigs in your collection is a scene to admire. Last advice is that keep your figs in a display casing as not to allow it to collect dust. I try to avoid cleaning my figs as to preserve the printings on them as new as possible. Good luck on your adventure, hope to see your collection soon  Grin

    Get the "Gold(chrome)" C3PO Cheesy

    I hate you!

Haha! Just kidding. I'd love to have one of those. I already have the Chrome Vader. Aiming to get Chrome C-3PO and 10123 Boba Fett.

It seems to me, no matter how old I am, LEGO will always be a little bit more expensive than I can afford!  Wink
