Hi everyone, it's been a while since I dropped by at Bricksmal.

I recently started collecting Kingdoms and Castle (yes, after 20 years since I bought my last Castle set!). Anyone looking to sell their Castle or Kingdoms sets? Prices in KL are still high even though cheaper than Star Wars sets!

Another thought that struck me recently is: Has anyone tried using LEGO Minifigs for tabletop wargames a la Warhammer and Warmachine etc? It occurred to me that it's not a bad idea - the pieces are far more modular (can swap weapons/equipment easily) and come fully painted. As a former wargamer, I think LEGO is almost tailor made for wargaming!

Please share your feedback here.

It was a long time ago (and a galaxy far, far away!)... I have a few left somewhere and a whole box unpainted. Looking to sell also. Interested? Smiley Limited Edition Praetorian Guard. W40K Imperial Guard. Also a few Necromunda and Mordheim.

I have seen 40k Space Marines Tac squads and even dreadnoughts built with Lego. I think it is on Flickr. Very awesome sight if you have the pieces to do it.
    Ahh, found it!

    Here are the Orks: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jerac/5234396771/#

I think can play Warhammer 40k, although at a super large scale compared to normal 40k scale. Have not played 40k so I do not know if it is possible.

Ya I bought it already. Played all 6 campaigns. Unfortunately it gets very boring playing the same mission again.

I am heavily invested in Table top wargame... recently gave up on everything else and started Warmachine and i have been enjoying my time ever since.

Lego figs are about the right size for wargaming. the only issue will be "will the other players play with you". If one is willing, why not? You just have to get the right size base only.

by the way check out brikwars...

I remember folks from brickgamers were promoting something similar.
