Hi, just saw your post recently. My advice (based on my experience of looking for 10179) to you is:

1) Be patient
2) Be prepared for crazy prices

The cheapest I found at one point was from a seller in South Korea. The set was slightly more expensive than US-based sellers but the postage was much cheaper. Also, please remember that Malaysian customs will impose a duty of 10-15%.  Sad

So far the cheapest I can see on Bricklink is USD $900 (NOT including postage, which will probably be around $300). And that's for a USED set. NISB will be upwards of $1100.  Shocked

Anyway, you can try your luck on:

1) http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=68171
2) eBay

All the best!

you know la, "This is Malaysia" and "Malaysia Boleh" it is all dependent on your luck. If lucky 0% if not depends on how well you can talk to the custom officer... it can range from RM50 cup of coffee.... to what ever his twisted mind will fancy.

I bought some 2nd hand IT equipment which was labeled properly as IT equipment, yet it still got stuck at Customs.

Really hate it. The final outcome would be I'll have to pay for customs agents to clear my item which is NOT supposed to be taxed in the first place!!!!

I believe it's a fixed rate for toys. I never tried avoiding it - better to be clean than sorry. Wink
