Here's he third vehicle of Power Miners.

    Price: RM58.90
    Pieces: 94 (around 63sen/piece)
    Minifigs: 2
    Year released: 2009

    Box art:
    Front:

    Side:

    Back:

    Content:
We got loose bricks, two packs of bricks, a separately pack Glaciator, instruction book and sticker sheet.

The loose bricks, that is wheel treads and a container.

    The separately pack Glaciator.

    New packing for rubber.

    Instruction book:
The instruction book contains building steps, bricks checklist, advertisement of other Power Miners set, Power Miners collection checklist and combination of all the Power Miners set.

    Decals:
Quite a number of pieces that need to be stick with sticker.

    Accessories:
An axe, a dynamite and a blue crystal.

And here’s a shot of the blue crystal.

    Minifig:
As usual the rock monster come assembled and the miners have printed leg and printed both side torso.

And the other expression of the miner:

    Glaciator:

As usual, rock monster manage to keep a crystal or a dynamite inside them.

    Granite Grinder:
This vehicle is quite nice as there are gas cylinders at the back of the vehicle, floodlight at the side, and a rubber wheel tread. This make it looks a little special compare to other vehicle.
    Random shot:

    Front shot:

    Side shot:
This side carries a floodlight white the other carries an axe.

    Rear shot:
We can see that it was just attached by the plastic chain. Might fell off easily.

    Top shot:

This is the opening cockpit. Well at least we do not need to remove the whole case and the monitor details are made from sticker.

As for the working jackhammer, it won’t be able to far ahead and you can hardly see whether it extends or not.

    Extra part:
We got 5 extra parts left.

    Completion:

This set has good parts especially the rubber wheel tread. Other than that, the gas cylinders that are built by bricks are also very well done and of course the floodlight too (I like the translucent piece).

    Functions:
    -opening cockpit
    -moving wheel tread
    -working jackhammer
    -detachable trailer
    -adjustable floodlight

    Pros:
    -cool minifigs
    -extra parts
    -functions

    Cons:
    -sticker sheet

    Final verdict:
Playability: 6/10 Moving the vehicle itself will move the jackhammer.
Design : 8/10 The design is quite different from others.
Price : 8/10 The price per piece seems to be acceptable.
Overall: 8/10 Nice colour, good parts, good accessories, nice minifig.

The real gem for Power Miners come from the design on the machines which come in some of the bigger sets. Top up with good combination of colors, it really stands out!

    Anyway, thanks for the review!

Cute little set =D. Price/piece ratio is good too. Just that Lego's been too kiamsiap with crystals. =/

Lion-kun loves the way the seat was designed. Thanks for the review bobby-san, got the whole set already? the base is quite cool and reasonable for its size (RRP 350)

yeah,.... bobby-san, the crystal king's price is almost the same as US price, 20 ringgit diff, so, on sales, (say 20%) , almost same already.
