The plates are pretty tricky to pull out. A brick separator comes in handy at this point Smiley

The grill is easy to mount and detach

Good start to your first review. It is quite heavy  picture heavy from the looks of it. I have a couple of suggestions to improve your review:-
    1) Try to take your photos with proper lighting and without flash. That way the pictures dun have dark backgrounds or the colors are washed out. Use of a tripod if necessary.
    2) Maybe you could tell us some of the features, how to operate the ladder, the steering (if any) and the details on the fire engine.
    3) If possible, try taking the photos with white background and on a white surface (mah jong paper on the table)

If the pricing of the large ferry is any indication, taking the price of the ferry 4997 with 1279 pieces at RM 433.90 (B4 discount) at RM 0.34 cents a piece, so this set shall be 771 pieces*RM 0.34 per piece = RM 262.14. If I am not wrong the 4996 beach house also not so expensive.

    Here are some additional shots.

You can see the two seats. But they are not minifig scale.

The roof is detacheable, revealing the seats which you can put your miniland figures into.
