Making instruction is a lot of work ler... maybe you can sell your instructions instead unless you want to do charity.

I fully agree with your thought. Making instruction is a lot of work. Considering the time that I have for Lego is limited.
    Sigh...

Maybe I'd put learning LDraw as KIV for the time being.

I tried using the LDraw b4 and its confusing but from what i found out was most of the AFOL used it to create the modela they want b4 building them. You can try CF bro

YUP, AFOL are using LDraw before they build the actual model.
To me, I prefer the feel of the actual pieces.
As for my MOC's, I do have 1:1 scale rough sketches before building.

Actually LDD is good for making models which is made up of normal bricks and plates. LDD is not suitable for technic models because it is very difficult to do certain things in the LDD such as placing a technic beam with gears etc. I always wonder how do people make large technic models using LDD though.

@ cheng fei, Wow, if only I have the parts to do a 1:1 scale mock-up.  Shocked

You can try something simple, maybe just take picture of the process it self. Like stop motion or something like that.

This is what I have been doing all these while. The trouble is I do this when I'm dismantling the MOC instead of when I'm building it.
