8041-1: Race Truck (B set)

few day ago ,i saw this set at bricket.com , the design quite attract me , so i download the building instruction , after that i found out my 8285 tow truck have 90% of part fulfill the brick list given, so i decide disassemble tow truck and staring build this 8041 B set , this set is not yet available at malaysia market . at the beginning , building quite smooth , after few minute , i met the biggest problem which is i lacking of i part , cause the front tired cannot turn left and right , i trying to figure out and do some owe creation , it failed me , so i gave up , and continue to building , now is the rear tire the gear wheel trigger to ENGINE , the gear wheel i own at tow truck is not suitable this this model , so i modify it , at the end , only left tire can trigger ENGINE in stead of 2 tire, the rest , not a big problem . after it's done , i completely love it , just the front tire cant move , then i spent another 3 hour to figure out how to fix it . finally i made it . let's see the picture .

this is the part i lacking cause the front tire cannot turn

Wow great built using parts from your Tow Truck! Shocked

Although not 100% like the real set, but your version look as aggressive as the real thing!

This must be a very big model since you are using the crane truck/tow truck tires!

Fantastic set, my gripe is as usual, the sheer amount of stickers Sad
