The box art do make me think twice before purchasing this set but due the very tempting offer, I just grab it and here goes the review. The front shows the common details a bout the set and added the minifigs details at the lower right of it. The top side of the box shows the ads and actual scale of each of the minifigs while the back shows you some of the functionality that the starfighter has.

There are some detail on the ship that need to be added by using stickers and the inside the box are four bags of bricks that were numbered differently to make assembling easier. Also the important instruction book were included. General Grievous were packed separately from other bricks in bag 1.

If you are a lightsaber lover and you just love to as much as you can, this set will provide you with five lightsabers. It also comes with a short blaster.

We can forget about the medical droid which spoilt our day and thanks to the cool General Grievous, it just makes me happy. Although it is more customized but the thing is this Grievous is better than the previous one. Not to forget about Nadhar Vebb is just a Mon Calamari in disguise and his torso were printed on the both side.

General Grievous look as good as he is even without the extra arm on. And yes, with four hand he can crawl he way out from the Jedi like he always do in the cartoon.

To look at the bright side, this command chair and rack is a bonus to the ship or the bad side of it, to increase piece count and place a higher price tag on it. Whether is the bright side or the bad, I still like to play with the movable and rotatable chair.

My first impression on this ship is that it is ugly and I hate it and don't even bother to get a copy of it. However, it changed my mind after I fully assemble it. It was indeed a nice ship compare to #7656 that were release three years ago before it were reissue. This one is bigger and badder.

What we have here. Hmmm.... First, is the blaster cannon that were placed on both side at the front and both of them are adjustable. Just push them upward and downward to get back to the horizontal position.

Also, both of the side have a secret compartment that stores the missiles. So there are two playability here, revealing the hidden compartment and flick-fire missiles. Each side can store two missiles and it is indeed hidden missiles. The designer done a good job hiding them. +1 point for the hidden compartment. ^^

The cockpit is just like the old one, which it slide open. Yes, you see it right, but in a more accurate way, which is only the windscreen that are sliding compare to the very first version of this ship. The windscreen is printed too. You can lighten up the cockpit with the stickers given.
I did not manage to fit General Grievous with another two hand armed on him so only the two-arm General Grievous can fit into the cockpit. The size of the cockpit is just right for him.

Here's some picture of the detail on the engine (don't really know what it is call, repulsor or propulsor). The translucent light blue piece is making it looks more lively, the engine is on!! Another playability comes when the fin behind the ship can be push down and act as a landing gear to the ship.

Finally, there is a big big missile armed right below the ship. Well it nothing special and more of a decoration as you have to detach it manually rather then drop it with a button.

What's left here are the spare just in case you break one or missing one.

I very much like this ship and would recommend to all other collector (although is already too late) to buy it  (and donate the first version to me ^^). If the price here were right, I would recommend to the local as well but too bad, is just way too expensive here. You got nice ship which are more accurate and even nice minifigs in this set just the wrong price.

Playability: 6/10 Loving the sliding windscreen and hidden compartment.
Building experience: 6/10 A pleasant building experience I have here.
Parts: 7/10 Printed windcreen and a number of large slope piece which I hardly see in other set.
Value for money: 4/10 The MSRP here is still not right, this is some sort of premium toys here.
Overall: 5/10 Love everything in this set, except the price and the medical droid which I don't even bother to know his name.
