    Theme: Star Wars
    Name: Imperial V-wing Starfighter
    S/N: #7915
    Year: 2011
    Pieces: 139
    Minifig: 2
    Price: RM129.90

    Box
There is this word "NEW Imperial Pilot & R2-Q2" beside the minifigs picture at the front to catch our attention and of course there is name and serial number at the front as well. As usual, the top side will show the actual minifig scale and the back shows the playability and pictures of other set for advertisement purpose.

    Content
The content is quite few as there are only two bags of bricks, a loose slope piece, an instruction booklet and a dreaded sticker sheet to add some detail to the starfighter.

    Accessories
This set gives only one short blaster but is very much sufficient for the use of one pilot instead of nothing were given. So we should thankful to get a blaster. =P

    Minifigs
We really get two new minifigs which is the cool Imperial Pilot and a new astromech droid R2-Q2. The Imperial Pilot's torso are printed on both side.

    V-wing Starfighter
The new Imperial V-wing Starfighter sure is bigger than the previous one and more advance than the previous one as there are more playability in this one. Below are the pictures of Imperial V-wing Starfighter  (landing mode) taken from different angle:

There is a little problem to pose it in flying mode, as such I took only one picture of the flying mode which have Imperial Pilot and R2-Q2 head attached to it. Although we have more figure compare to the previous release but we cannot place the whole astromech droid inside this fighter, I guess this is one of the weakness of the set other than sticker problem.

The Imperial Pilot fit in the cockpit well and here comes another flaws as the cockpit have no monitor or anything like Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter, so I would say lacking of details.

For the astromech part, well is acturally quite disappointed but I can't help it because this is just a small starfighter ples TLG give us extra torso for the droid rather than just gave us a head. I bet giving extra part for R2-Q2 do help boost their sales and price as well. Is just too bad that we have to separate the head and the body every time.

    Extra pieces
Two pieces were left over for spare just in case you lost them or broke them.

    Completed model
I would say is a nice plane just that there are a few weakness to go over with. Open and close windscreen really helps a lot and switching the wing position added some playability.

Playability: 6/10 I suppose switching wing position and the windscreen have become the playability
Design: 8/10 I like the ship, but there are still some part that I don't really like
Price: 7/10 The big price gap between Malaysia and Singapore manage to be overcome somehow
Overall: 7/10 Nice minifigs, nice aircraft, just some part are badly design
