    Here is part of the long awaited Mindstorm NXT 2.0 review. I'll add more as time permits Smiley

    1 touch sensor - activated when it is depressed or released.
    1 The colour sensor - Detects light and colors
    1 The ultrasonic sensor - used to detect movement and distance
     No sound sensor Sad


    Software

    I had a major issue in looking for the building instructions. In actual fact, it is inside the CD!


    It comes with 4 buld instrucitons

    Animals - Robogaitor
    Machines - Color sorter
    Humanoid - Alpha Rex

    As per regular large sets, this box contains a flap. Its not too big though. Once you finish setting up your alpha-rex, you can actually fit it back in the box.

    Alpha Rex
    ------------

    The instructions in the CD teaches us to build the Alpha Rex in stages. At each stage, it would encourage us to do some basic programming.

    The best place to start and systematically build the Alpha Rex is from the legs.  If you start with the head, iyou'll find you can't test it untill you complete the body (torso, arms and legs) first. Here is a completed Alpha Rex.

    waaa so cool..... i want that CD Tongue... oh the new alparex they put 2 touch sensor on it back leg ...... look nice for programing
