Hi and Hello to all BricksMal members...
Just drop by to say Hi.....like to be known to members by my nickname ' kay-roc '.
If anybody insist to know my real name, they can always email me.
In my mid 40ties, from Pahang and currently living in KL. Father of 3 teenage children. A banker by profession.
What is LEGO to me....realizing my childhood passion (during those days my parents cannot afford to purchase one for me due to price factor).
Now I have the $$$ to purchase...
My collection theme are Technic, Racer and Creator.
My collection are mostly Technic models from 2004 up to current year (still missing in my collection - 8110)
+ some supercars built by LEGO pro-builders (Crowkillers, Nico71, Skyliner etc etc).

I have a question --->>>  where can I get/purchase parts and pieces + power function (PF) accessories in Malaysia???

*** Mybricks2u.com  - currently only have 8293 set (M motor only)

*** Brickbastion.com  - don't have any yet and

*** Bricksboys in MidValley - out of stock (purchased few boxes of the 8293 set sometime ago from them).

So members of BricksMal....where can I get hold of the Power Funtion items (XL motors, the IR, the RC etc etc) in Malaysia???.

If member of the club suggesting me to purchase them from ebay......I've done that and frankly...most of my collection are bought through ebay. The only 'killing' thing purchasing from ebay is the shipping cost which is a killer to most purchaser.

Or we have to wait for the LEGOLAND in Johor....hhhmmmm.....(more or less a year to go).

So members....any other idea/s...

LEGO is a way to play.
It doesn't wind up
It doesn't spin
It doesn't shoot
It doesn't kill
It doesn't say 'mama'
It doesn't wet
It doesn't walk
... yet it's the happiest creative way to help your "child" grow.

Thank you for your time and best regards.....(makan, minum, tidur, main LEGO hehehehe)

    hi kay-roc.

    Welcome o bricksmal.

I'm also one of the Technic kaki too.

At here are hard to get the Power Function parts.

Last year, i have asking help with my friend to brought the power function part from UK.

At bricksmal, we aslo have purchase together the part from blicklink.com too. Can save the shipping cost.

You have the supercar built built by Lego Pro-builder.  Shocked Shocked
Wow, that's cool. Hope you can show the pictures for us.

    Hi Jackson,

    Good morning BricksMal members & Hello 2 U 2.
Currently, I only manage to built 2 models form the pro-builder.

     1 - the Lamborghini Gallardo 1:10 scale in black by Crowkillers --- >>> http://www.crowkillers.com/

2 - the Lamborghini Countach 1:10 scale in black also by Skyliner
( not 100% complete due to some missing parts which I still need to source- out)

Still....I have 7 to 8 models pending to be assemble provided that I have enough parts and pieces.
It's very-very "hard" for me to disassemble of the models which I own to make the MOC model/s.

Yup...may be I will upload the picture/s of the models to share it with all the BrickMal members.....

So... Thank you for the reply and have a nice to you & also to all the members.

Hi kayroc and welcome to Bricksmal!

I am also a Technic kaki but sometimes will buy some sets from other themes if the set interest me. I would love to see your pro-builder models in person.

I suggest you keep your supercar models built since it is extremely difficult to dismantle them. I know coz I have the 8448 supercar and various other large technic sets. Sometimes need pliers to pull out the parts.  Shocked Also it would be cool to have an entire row of supercars.

    Hello paanjang16,

I know that you're the 'big guy' in BricksMal...so I've to "tabik spring" you for that...hehehe.

The super cars that I own currently are:-

     - the Lamborghini Gallardo in black by Crowkillers --->>>  http://www.crowkillers.com/  (the building instructions (BI) is free from the website)

     - the Lamborghini Countach also in black by Skyliner --->>> you have to purchase the BI. (e-mail me if want the BI - I give it FOC if want it)

     - the 8880

     - the 8653 - Ferrari Enzo

     - the 8145 -  Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano   (another set coming - bought it from ebay few days ago....for my next MOC supercar...)

What I meant by "hard' to disassemble is --->>> bukan susah mahu buka the LEGO but the "perasaan sedih" if I have to disassemble it to make other model/s.

For viewing in person......no need la friend...it 's the same with all the other models. Still.... if you insist, please let me know.

Okay...that's it for now. Have a nice Sunday/day members.

Do drive safe....don't drink & drive....cheers.....Smiley Smiley Smiley
