Hi
« on: November 25, 2011, 09:07:54 PM »

Hello to all  Kiss,

Just registered to bricks mal today to get/share knowledge.
I'm in my early 30's, originate from penang.
My passion to LEGO had reignited back after i was asked by my parent to take back my old LEGO sets (space, pirates, starwars) from their house. Now i'm starting back to collect the classic pirates collection, and i will try to build my own ship (if i have the time and money...).
Have anybody purchased LEGO sets from bricklink? It would be appreciated if u can share your experince. Some of the set are cheaper compared to ebay, but how safe/ reliable the purchasing is?
I've purchased some LEGO sets from ebay, hopefully all will arrive safely.

Regards,
Sam

    Hi!

    Welcome to bricksmal!

For bricklink purchases, always look for reputable sellers. Those are usually LEGO fans themselves.

If possible, always ask for shipping with tracking codes. Sometimes purchases just get stuck at customs. Without tracking code, it's hard to find them. Lost a few packages like that.

    Thanks admin,

Few of my ebay purchases had arrived safely and i'm awaiting few more.
I have a question that i want to ask, what is the best way to remove all the dusk collecting on top of our lego set? Is is enough by using air blower? or i have to brushed with water? Thanks for sharing...

    Regards,
    Sam

    hi, welcome.

i aslo facing this problem too. i just put the dusted parts into the water and put some dish washer. After that brush with used tooth brush piece by piece. Clean with water again.
after that blow it with the compressor air, not too much pressure. Cos the easy will blow away the parts.

    regards.
    Jackson.
